Wow! I did not know. The list is crazy. Funny enough I just got the book Ultra-Processed People

Why Do We All Eat Stuff That Isn't Food ... and Why Can't We Stop? by Chris van Tulleken. A friend recommended it to me. You may like it too!

That list is terrifying. I never saw the add but I do remember the time when everybody was talking about how fast food doesn't decompose so I guess this was the answer to that story. I think it's pretty genius.

It’s gross but indeed quite genius! It reminds me of Iceland’s last McDonald burger that was sold in 2009 and is on display in a hostel. It looks like it barely aged and the box that is holding the fries looks like it molded more than the fries itself. Kind of wild to think that sometimes we eat something that ultra-processed.

I know right 🫣 I tried to find information and came up empty. I don’t have much faith in major corporations disposing things they no longer use ethically and won’t be surprised if we find out a few years from now that they dumped them in many of the same countries that America, Canada, and the EU already sends their plastic waste.

BK was one of my PR clients a couple years ago, and we were constantly talking about how to achieve this type of impact. Advertising tends to have more immediate effects, but other industries can still use its thinking to their advantage. Good stuff as always, Otis.

That’s so crazy! How did you try to achieve a similar type of impact? I find advertising so fun and intriguing and I love the play on visual psychology. People just see an ad and think that’s that, but so much work and thought goes behind it. I really appreciate you reading and your comment Cecilia! ☀️💫
